More grants to be sought for Lake revitalization The Meadville TribuneBy Jean ShanleySaturday, March 29, 2014 CONNEAUT LAKE — Borough Council has approved Conneaut Lake Community Revitalization Committee’s request to apply for two more grants on behalf of the borough for its revitalization plan for the downtown area.One is a request for $400,000 from the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The borough received one grant last year.The second was approval to apply for a $3 million grant from the state’s Revitalization Assistance Community Program.
