After careful considerations , the Conneaut Lake Community Development Committee has made the difficult decision to suspend the Ice House Festival.

Over the the past ten years, the festival has grown into a cherished community tradition, bringing residents and visitors together through the artistry of professional ice carving and the shared spirit of winter celebration. The success would not have been possible without the dedication of our committee members, sponsors, local business, volunteers, and community supporters.

As we looked at the future of the event, the committee engaged in extensive discussions regarding its long-term sustainability. Ongoing volunteer shortages and limited fundraising opportunities have made it increasingly difficult to organize and grow the festival at the level our community has come to expect. While this decision was not made lightly, we believe it is the most responsible course of action at this time.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the festival’s success over the past decade. your support, generosity, and commitment helped create an event that strengthened community connections, showcased local pride, and crated lasing memories for countless families and visitors.

Although the Ice House Festival has been suspended, the impact on our community will endure. We are proud of what we accomplished together and grateful for the relationships and partnerships built along the way.

Thank you for your support throughout the years and for helping make the Ice House Festival a meaningful part of our community’s history.
